Maison Trou d'Eau Douce Île Maurice

This house was designed in Mauritius Island with a simple and functional architectural approach. The rectangular shape was chosen to ensure an efficient and well-balanced internal layout, allowing each space to be naturally connected and easy to use.

Large glass openings create a strong relationship between indoor and outdoor areas, bringing in abundant natural light and encouraging ventilation. These wide bay windows also frame views of the surrounding landscape and enhance everyday comfort.

The project emphasizes the use of local materials, respecting the Mauritian context and climate. This choice not only reinforces the connection to the site but also promotes durability, sustainability, and local craftsmanship.
