Serge Kahendua Kalonda
Co-Founder & Principal
I oversee the architectural aspects of the studio, bringing over 24 years of experience in architecture and interior architecture across commercial, mixed-use, and residential projects. As a qualified Interior Architect, I combine creative vision with technical expertise to deliver cohesive and innovative solutions.
Throughout my career, I have worked in Tenerife (2 years), London (7 years), Brussels (5 years), and Dubai (6 years), gaining extensive international experience. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, I have developed a multicultural perspective that enriches my design approach and allows me to adapt to diverse contexts.
I believe that successful design extends beyond the physical space, positively impacting the wider community. By fostering dialogue, transparency, and thoughtful inquiry, I lead a team committed to creating environments that support the dynamic framework of life.
Nathalie Kapu
Development Director
With over 22 years’ experience gained in France and Luxembourg in consultancy and the development of digital solutions, I have supported numerous companies with their transformation projects, organisational optimisation and customer experience improvement initiatives.
My career has enabled me to develop expertise in business strategy, business development and the management of complex projects within demanding and multicultural markets, working alongside decision-makers from a variety of sectors.
At Mawe Architecture, I am responsible for the studio’s strategic development, client and partner relations, and project support, with an approach based on active listening, a long-term vision and the creation of lasting relationships.
